Took a gamble & received new 42" 3D TV today. WoW, what a great TV for £350!! Playing through a 3D Blu Ray player the simple to use Passive 3D is really very good. Doesn't hurt your eyes, Glasses are comfortable (clip on's for my glasses also supplied)& have watched Harry Potter 3D, Family very impressed.
Picture on normal TV is good, sound adequate, not too loud or quiet. Very easy to set up & tune in (about 5 to 6mins). The 3D option is simple to operate & even if you don't have a 3D Movie to watch you can use the 2D to 3D converter which gives a 3D effect on normal TV (just set to level 2 or 3 for comfort), really is very good. Was a bit nervous as seems to be cheapest 3D TV available but even just as normal 42inch TV at this price if you don't use 3D, it's still a very good buy - Well done Amazon!

Just got the TV and have been playing around with it all day.
The picture is amazing for the price and compares to much more expensive tv's.
sound is brilliant.
2d to 3d brilliant.
Haven't had chance to try out full 3d games or films yet but am looking forward to it.
would definitely recommend this TV.

I was not sure if I did the right thing in ordering this Television as the price was quite cheap,when it arrived and I set it up,which was very simple and turned it on I was really happy at the quality of the picture and the 3D was more than reasonable for the price and 2D to 3d Simulation was also very good, overall if you are on a tight budget I would recommend this television.

Toshiba 22BV501B 22-inch Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV

I needed a good quality, small tv for the guest room that we've just finished refurnishing. I was wary of spoling the overall effect by having a cheap and nasty tv that I've often encountered in b&b's and some hotel rooms, so had to make a good choice. My one worry about the 19BV501B was that no matter how hard I searched it was impossible to find a user review, so I took a leap of faith and did it the old fashioned way by respecting the manufacturer's reputation and staying within a set budget. On opening the package, my first impressions of the tv were reasuringly positive, even before I plugged it in and set it up. I found it well built, sturdy on its stand and the shiny black finish was very attractive. Automatic setup was simplicity itself, taking less than 5 minutes to search through the digital channels on freeview and present them on the channel directory. Picture quality is excellent, as is the sound quality and both can be fine tuned according to user preference. It's somewhat over-specced for a tv in a guest room which may not be used very often, but I know I have purchased exactly what I wanted, a small tv with excellent sound and picture quality that I would highly recommend.

We were looking to replace the analogue TV in our bedroom due to the switch over to digital. We wanted something small enough for the sapce available, but watchable from a distance as we sat in bed. Based on the only review of this product available on Amazaon we chose this item. We are delighted. It really is a good product.  Samsung P2270HD 22-inch Full HD 1080p LCD TV/Monitor (5ms, 50000:1, HDMI)

I bought this monitor to serve quite a few purposes - a monitor for my PC, as well as my Macbook Pro, and as a TV for my Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3. I was astonished at this monitor's plethora of connections, which mean I can have my PS3, X360, PC and PS2 all connected at once. Here we come to my first minor gripe - the monitor only has the one HDMI connection, so I can't have my Mac and my PS3 connected at the same time and without an HDMI switcher box, I have to keep switching the cables between them. That's nothing an HDMI switcher can't solve though.
The picture quality is phenomenal, especially for the price. On the PC using DVI, it's crystal clear and has great colour. The PS3 with HDMI looks fantastic. And the Xbox 360 on component is brilliant as well - this monitor excels with all its inputs. However, I do have one other gripe - and that is with the dynamic contrast. The monitor's Dynamic Contrast setting, on by default, is a bit intrusive and noticeable, and honestly, you can do without it. This is easily switched off in the monitor's menus, and is little more than an annoyance until you do so. Even without it, the monitor handles dark scenes and light scenes in movies perfectly well.

In summary - fantastic monitor for all uses, be it TV, gaming, or computers. Pin-sharp picture, handles contrast well. I don't use the monitor's speakers, as I run a home theater system for that - and that brings me to another good point. Running audio from the Mac means I have to connect the home theater to the monitor's Optical Out port - and sound from this built in port doesn't lose any quality. You can't go wrong for the price of this monitor - it does it all, it does it well, and it looks great on your desk, too.
